H.O.M.E.
In-home family support — help make home life more manageable, in the place where routines, relationships and difficult moments actually happen.
Home is where routines, relationships and difficult moments actually happen.
H.O.M.E. brings therapeutic and practical support into that environment, so the team can understand what is happening in context and help families develop approaches they can use in everyday life.
It may help families work towards clearer routines, more consistent responses, stronger communication, greater caregiver confidence, a better understanding of behaviour and more workable ways to manage difficult moments.
Support may include in-home therapeutic support, behaviour-support planning and practical strategies, therapeutic play and relational activities, and support around routines, relationships and home structure.
H.O.M.E. may be relevant when the main challenges are happening at home, when routines or relationships need to be understood in context, or when the wider family environment is an important part of what is happening.
