W.I.L.D.
Outdoor and community-based therapeutic support to build connection, confidence and practical skills through shared experience.
Some people engage differently when support is happening through an activity rather than across a desk.
W.I.L.D. uses outdoor and community experiences to create opportunities for connection, regulation, confidence, communication and practical skill development.
Activities may include fishing, water-based activities, bush walks, team-building and other outdoor experiences. The activity is the setting; the purpose is the support that can happen within it, which may include connection or reconnection with caregivers and family, regulation, communication, confidence and participation.
